Smith Boys (turning TWO)

TWO is such a fun age, right? Having a two year old boy myself, they are not equipped to want to sit still or well, sit in general. ;)

These two cutie pies were no different. They were all boy, wanting to explore, run, and play in the creek. Which, I am pretty sure is the absolute best part of being a kid.

Be sure to leave them some love, and stay tuned for more galleries coming soon!

Baby Ellie (Winter 2018)

To me every baby is a complete miracle, and for most parents they wished and hoped, begged, and pleaded to have their precious miracle. This sweet family is the perfect example of that. I have had the pleasure of knowing (A) & (P) for several years now and I remember the night when they told us they were expecting! After years of trying, help from IVF, and lots of pleading the twin boys were conceived and then boys being boys decided to throw a kink in the plan and come much earlier than anticipated ;). Now, almost a year later those boys are happy, healthy, and growing entirely too fast! However, there was a new addition added baby Ellie. She was born just two short weeks ago, and has stolen hearts already.

So, for anyone reading this who may be on the verge of giving up or loosing hope, don't. Where there is a will, there is a way, and what is meant to be will be. Being a mom myself who struggled to get pregnant and maintain a stable pregnancy, I always will have a soft spot for success stories. Success stories via natural birth or adoption. Babies are miracles no matter which womb they come from, and I couldn't be happier for this sweet family, and have felt incredibly blessed to be able to photograph such important moments in their lives.

Be sure to check out some of my favorites from their session below!

The Boesmiller Twins (Miracle babies from supermom)

Mark and Jessica contacted me in December to photograph their newborn babies, little did I realize that I would be meeting two precious miracles from a mom who is a living miracle herself. I absolutely fell in love with the babies; a boy and a girl, both calm mannered and very laid back. I learned that just a month prior the families whole world had been turned upside down when Jessica realized she had a very rare form of eye cancer. Mark is a firefighter for Charlotte, and as medical bills are increasing, there was a gofundme account set up to help. There is also a Facebook page Updates on Jessica where you can learn more and follow Jessica's story.

For now, fall in love with these beautiful babies, and this precious family.
